The rich program of the 3rd annual international photography festival Organ Vida

Acoustic concert of the young Croatian singer/songwriter Luka Belani and the group exhibition of professional and amateur photographers scheduled for the opening night

The international photography festival, Organ Vida, will take place from May 19th through 21st, at SC – Student Centre, Zagreb.

The 3rd annual photography festival will start on Thursday, 19th of May at 8 PM with an acoustic concert by young singer/songwriter Luka Belani, and the opening of the group exhibition of professional and amateur photographers on the subject of 'The People'. The exhibition consists of works by 33 authors from five countries – Croatia, Poland, Slovenia, Serbia and USA.

Organ Vida festival will be held in two locations: in the quarters of the association of photographers 'Omnibus' (workshops held by Siniša Uštulica, Igor Šeler, Jadranko Begić Stripy, as well as renown Croatian photographer Tomislav Dolenec, all on May 19th) and at SC – Student Centre Zagreb.

On the second day, May 20th, the festival will feature lectures by renown professionals: Želimir Koščević - art historian and ethnologist, Stanko Herceg and Mijo Vesović – professional cinematographers, and a presentation by Kadar36 colective.

Scheduled for the third day, May 21st, are the lectures by Vedran Gulin – creative director of the 'Proximity' production company, young Croatian photographer Martina Kenji, professional cinematographer Ana Opalić, as well as Marjan Radović – expert in underwater photography.

At the final evening of the festival, the awards will be presented to the authors of the best photos from the exhibition, followed by a party at Teatar &TD with DJ Mayo.

This year, 307 authors from thirty different countries have applied with the total of 1275 photos – and our jury has selected 33 authors from five countries: Croatia, Poland, Slovenia, Serbia and USA.

The entrance to the festival, as well as participation in all the workshops, lectures, and side programs are free.
